Attorneys & Staff

From eDiscovery paralegals to attorneys with top class rankings, we recruit legal professionals and only legal professionals 24-7.

Partners

When I meet with revenue-generating, partner-level attorneys, I’m interested on a personal level. I’m a small business owner myself. I know first-hand the pressure and pride that come with generating your own business. We share the same challenges of finding time to mentor associates and staff while managing our own clients and goals; or deciding when spikes in business warrant new hires versus running lean.

I’m interested in the business behind the practice of law and deconstructing why some attorneys become leaders who develop business and others do not. I’m passionate about how to create culture, make loyal hires, and diversify revenue streams for stability and growth.

If you have a portable book of business (I don’t care if it’s $50k or $5mm), you have my RESPECT. It didn’t happen overnight. Kudos to you for your focus, commitment, and hustle to arrive at your level of success.

partner

To ensure your continued success and fulfilment, it’s necessary to constantly evaluate your firm dynamics, culture, resources, and core values.

  • Are you referring clients to other firms and forfeiting origination/relationship building because you/your firm cannot provide full service support?
  • Do you have a voice around your team’s billable rates, client fee arrangements, and staff compensation?
  • Is the culture of your current firm conducive to your best work?
  • Are the core values of your firm consistent with your clients’?
  • Do you have the resources you need to support your clients?

Associates

Our favorite part about working with associates is the wide range of goals! Are you a lawyer who loves the practice of law and hates the business development requirements some firms impose? Or do you love drumming up new business and want to be better compensated for your contributions? Wherever you fall, from entry level to rising partners, we love learning what brought you to the practice of law and what it’ll take to keep you fulfilled in it.

Paralegals

Of all the roles we recruit for, paralegals are our favorite! (Don’t tell the others!) Our founder, Katie McMahan, used to be a trial paralegal, so we’ve experienced the highs and lows common to this profession. Do you receive a bonus for your efforts, based on quality of work or billable hours? Or do you much prefer flexibility to work from home over higher pay? Whatever your goals are, we know the firms that offer what you want.

Staff Positions

This group of legal professionals is as wide ranging as it is niche. From legal eBillers to paralegal managers to information technology support, the positions in a firm that do not generate revenue hold just as much importance and pressure, but often come with quite different pay structures and benefits. We love that because we work with so many firms of all sizes and locations, we can consult with you about your offerings to determine if you can do better – or if you should stay put!
